This charming cottage has a unique layout, which just adds to the experience of staying here. Built over 3 floors and located just a 5 minute drive from Cartmel Village, this secluded location is a quiet, safe haven to relax and enjoy with your loved ones.

Upon walking into the cottage, you’ll be welcomed into a well-sized hallway. To the left, you will then move up a small flight of stairs to our spacious, open plan kitchen - which includes:

The kitchen leads out onto a large, walled patio - which is the perfect spot to relax in the summer sunshine, whilst letting your dog safely roam around. The cottages’ outdoor space is enclosed, and features garden furniture, a stone barbecue stand and paving.

Double Bedroom
On the third floor, we have the main bedroom which features glorious, high, exposed beam ceilings. You will also find a a large, double wardrobe, a chest of drawers and comfortable bed complete with bed linen and towels for two people.

Our bright, spacious bathroom is located on the third floor and features a bathtub with shower over.
Twin Bedroom
On the first floor is the twin bedroom, featuring two single beds and double chest of drawers. The room is nice and spacious and could also house a cot if you’re bringing along a little one.
Free Off-Road Parking
The Byre Holiday Cottage can offer off-road parking for up to 2 cars. There is also a main gate at the front of the property which can be closed if you require.
Local Food Delivery Service
We have recently teamed up with local company “A Day’s Walk” to provide our guests with a food delivery service. You can order anything from pies, fresh bread and meat, through to local beers and you will receive a discount if you mention you’re staying at The Byre!
Nearest Convenience Store
The nearest shop is in Cartmel Village, which is just a 5 minute drive from The Byre. This store is great for all the essentials, stocking a range of meats, vegetables, bread and drinks.
