“Beautiful stone cottage. The layout is quirky which adds to it's charm. Lovely lounge with lovely furnishings. Kitchen and dining room excellent and double doors lead to an enclosed garden which has a patio and raised flower beds. Perfect for our dog, no muddy paws! Bathroom and double bedroom excellent. The cottage was very clean. Cartmel is just 2 miles away. We will return.”

“What a beautiful location. The cottage is larger than expected and very quirky. Set over three floors with beautiful exposed beams. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. The cottage was a perfect base for exploring the lakes and the village of Cartmel not too far away. I would highly recommend The Byre”
